Scrapit Camera Direct Con

Overview
▎ ScrapIT Camera Direct Connection enables the ScrapIT scrapyard management application (scrapitsoftware.com) to display live IP camera feeds directly in the browser.
▎ WHY THIS EXTENSION IS NEEDED:
▎ ScrapIT runs over HTTPS for security, but I cameras on the local network use HTTP. Browsers block these "mixed content" requests. This extension bridges that gap, allowing the secure web app to display camera feeds from local network cameras.
▎ FEATURES:
▎ • WebSocket streaming for smooth, low-latency video
▎ • MJPEG direct camera streaming support
▎ • JPEG snapshot polling as fallback
▎ • Automatic protocol detection and failover
▎ • Works with Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, and other IP cameras
▎ • Zero configuration — detects cameras automatically
▎ • No data collection — all traffic stays on your local network
▎ HOW IT WORKS:
▎ The ScrapIT web application communicates with this extension to fetch camera frames from IP cameras on your local network. The extension handles the HTTP request that the browser would otherwise block, and returns the image to the application for display.
▎ PRIVACY:
▎ This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Camera images are fetched from local network devices and displayed only within the ScrapIT application. No data leaves your network.
▎ REQUIREMENTS:
▎ • ScrapIT Touch application (scrapitsoftware.com)
▎ • IP cameras accessible on the local network
