This extension plays a metronome count-in before the video starts, helping you synchronize perfectly with the music.

Custom Pre-Count: Set BPM and beats per bar, then hear a precise count-in before the video plays.

Smart Loop Practice: Loop specific measures for targeted practice with optional count-in modes (Off / 2-beat / Full bar / 2 & 4).

Playback Speed Control: Adjust YouTube's playback speed (1%–400%) directly from the extension. The metronome automatically syncs to the adjusted tempo.

Pitch Control: Shift audio pitch in semitones without affecting speed.

Multi-Tempo & Sections: Handle songs with tempo changes by adding multiple BPM markers. Manage sections via a list view with quick navigation.

- Overlay Playback Controls: Control playback directly from the video overlay — restart, go to previous measure, pause/resume, and close — without opening the popup.

- Pause/Resume: Play button now pauses and resumes from the current position instead of stopping and restarting. Restart and previous-measure buttons are always active.
- #precount preview mode: entering via URL hash now shows settings without auto-playing

- New rhythm pattern: 16th-note Shuffle (Swing / Shuffle 16th)
- Pre-roll count-in: loop restarts now play a count-in before the loop point with a smooth fade-in transition

- Security: YouTube CSP headers are now only modified when pitch shift is active, keeping default browsing untouched
