Knowledge Base System
The built-in Knowledge Base is what makes VYROX AutoWhatsApp truly powerful. Instead of generic AI responses, train the AI with your actual business information so it responds with accurate, relevant answers about your products, services, promotions, and more.
The Knowledge Base uses a three-level hierarchy for organized information management:
- Category Level: 8 predefined categories to organize your business information
- Item Level: Create multiple named items within each category
- Entry Level: Add different types of content to each item
Eight Knowledge Categories:
1. Product - Physical or digital products you sell
2. Service - Services your business offers
3. Combo - Bundled packages and combo deals
4. Promotion - Sales, discounts, and limited-time offers
5. Event - Upcoming events, launches, and activities
6. Announcement - Official company announcements and notices
7. News - Industry news, trends, and business updates
8. Customer Support - FAQs, policies, refund information, and support documentation
Five Content Types per Item:
- Plain Text: Write product descriptions, FAQs, pricing details, policies, or any text-based information
- Documents: Upload PDF, DOCX, CSV, TXT, JSON, or MD files. Text is automatically extracted and made available to the AI
- Images: Upload product photos, screenshots, or marketing materials (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP). Add descriptions so the AI knows when to share them
- Videos: Add YouTube video links with automatic thumbnail extraction. The AI shares video links when customers ask about demos, tutorials, or visual content
- Websites: Paste any webpage URL and the system automatically scrapes the content, extracts text, images, and video links for the AI to reference
For example, under the Product category, you can create an item called "SnookerKING Software" and add a text description of its features, upload product screenshots, link demo videos, and attach the product brochure PDF. When a customer asks about SnookerKING, the AI uses all of this information to provide an accurate, comprehensive response.
The Knowledge Base is hosted securely online and accessible through a dedicated web interface. Manage your content from any browser — add, edit, or remove entries anytime, and changes are reflected in AI responses within minutes.
SMART REPLY TARGETING
Control exactly who receives auto-replies with two reply modes:
Reply to All: The AI responds to every incoming WhatsApp message automatically. Ideal for businesses that want full automation across all customer conversations.
Whitelist Mode: Only auto-reply to specific contacts or groups. Enter the exact chat names (one per line) and the bot will only respond to those conversations, leaving all other chats untouched. Perfect for businesses that want to automate specific customer channels while keeping personal chats private.
MEDIA-RICH RESPONSES
VYROX AutoWhatsApp does not just send text replies. When a customer asks to see a product photo, the AI pulls the relevant image from your Knowledge Base and sends it directly in the chat as an attached photo. When a customer asks about a video demo or wants a website link, the AI includes the URL as a clickable link below the message.
The AI intelligently decides when to:
- Attach an image directly in the chat (product photos, screenshots, marketing materials)
- Share a clickable link below the reply (YouTube videos, website pages, resources)
- Send a text-only response (general questions, greetings, FAQs)
All URLs and media are cleanly separated from the reply text, ensuring professional, well-formatted messages every time.
CUSTOMIZABLE AI BEHAVIOR
System Prompt: Fully customize how the AI behaves by editing the system prompt. Define the AI's personality, tone, response length, and specific instructions. Whether you want a formal corporate tone or a casual friendly approach, the system prompt gives you complete control.
Reply Delay: Set a configurable delay (1 to 30 seconds) before the AI sends each reply. This makes responses appear more natural and human-like, rather than instant robotic replies.
Multiple API Keys: Add multiple Google Gemini API keys for load balancing. Keys are rotated randomly with each request, distributing usage across keys to avoid rate limits and ensure reliable uptime.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the extension and open WhatsApp Web in your browser
2. Add your Google Gemini API key(s) in the extension settings (get free keys from aistudio.google.com)
3. Optionally set up your Knowledge Base with business information
4. Toggle Auto-Reply ON — the bot starts monitoring immediately
5. When an unread message is detected, the bot opens the chat, reads the conversation context, sends it to Gemini AI along with your Knowledge Base content, and delivers the response
6. Track your activity with the built-in reply counter
The extension works silently in the background. You can continue using WhatsApp Web normally — the bot handles unread conversations while you focus on active chats.
SECURITY AND PRIVACY
Your Data Stays Local: API keys and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage. They are never transmitted to any third-party server.
Secure Knowledge Base Access: Your Knowledge Base is protected by a multi-layer security system. Your Chrome extension ID is hashed three times using SHA-512 (producing a 128-character identifier), then signed with SHA-256 to generate a verification signature. Any attempt to tamper with the URL or access another user's Knowledge Base is blocked with an access denied error.
Per-User Isolation: Each extension installation has its own isolated Knowledge Base. Your business data is never mixed with or accessible to other users.
No Password Storage: The extension never stores or accesses your WhatsApp credentials. It operates entirely through the WhatsApp Web interface that you have already authenticated.
Conversation Privacy: Message content is sent to Google Gemini AI for response generation only. No conversation data is stored on any server. The AI processes each request independently without retaining chat history.

GETTING STARTED
1. Install VYROX AutoWhatsApp from the Chrome Web Store
2. Open WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) in Chrome
3. Click the VYROX AutoWhatsApp icon in your toolbar
4. Expand Advanced Settings and add your Google Gemini API key
5. Click Save Settings
6. The bot is now active and will auto-reply to incoming messages
To set up your Knowledge Base:
1. Click "Manage Knowledge Base" in the extension popup
2. Choose a category (Product, Service, Promotion, etc.)
3. Create a named item within the category
4. Add content: text descriptions, upload images, paste YouTube links, upload documents, or scrape websites
5. Save — the AI will start using your knowledge in replies within 5 minutes

Q: Do I need a Google Gemini API key?

A: Yes. Your Knowledge Base is accessible only through your unique extension ID, which is cryptographically hashed and signed. No one else can view or modify your data.
