Overview
VulnFinder is a browser extension for security researchers and developers that enriches Google search results when you look up CVE identifiers (for example, CVE-2025-58751). Instead of manually opening multiple tabs and documentation pages, VulnFinder injects a clean, modern panel at the top of the search results with the most important information about the vulnerability.
When you search for a CVE, VulnFinder automatically detects the identifier in your query and fetches structured data from trusted sources such as CVE.org and compatible CVE APIs. It then displays:
A concise vulnerability summary
CVSS v2, v3, and v4 base scores (when available)
Handy links to PoC and advisory references (for example, GitHub security advisories and related commits)
Direct links to the official NVD and MITRE CVE pages
The UI is designed to blend with Google’s look and feel, supports both light and dark mode, and provides a modern card-style layout that keeps your workflow inside the search page. This helps you quickly understand impact, exploitability, and remediation guidance without losing context or switching between multiple tabs.
