Overview

VGC Replay Analyzer brings powerful replay tracking and statistics directly into Pokémon Showdown. Save every battle you play, rewatch them any time, and get deep insight into how your teams actually perform — all without uploading a single replay.

Built for competitive VGC players who want to know more than just their win/loss record.

Features

- Automatic replay saving — Every battle you finish is saved locally to your browser. No uploads, no accounts, no external servers. Toggle it off any time if you'd rather save manually.

- One-click manual save — Prefer to pick and choose? A "Save Locally" button is added right into the replay UI.

- Local replay library — Browse all of your saved games in a side panel, grouped automatically by team. Replays are matched against your Teambuilder teams so your library stays organized as you build and tweak.

- Rewatch anywhere — Local replays play back through Showdown's native replay viewer, exactly like replays from the official replay site.

- PASRS-style analysis — Get the same detailed stats VGC players rely on, now built right into the extension:
– Pokémon usage and win rates
– Lead combinations
– Tera type frequency
– Move usage
– Matchup breakdowns by opposing team
– ELO progression graphs over time

- POV switching & filters — Analyze from either player's perspective and filter by format, ladder, date range, and more.

- Fully local & private — All replays and stats live in your own browser via IndexedDB. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.

How to use

1. Install the extension.
2. Head to play.pokemonshowdown.com and play some games.
3. Open the Replay Library from the extension popup or below the teambuilder button to browse, rewatch, and analyze.
That's it — no setup, no sign-in, no configuration required.
