Veolang — Auto Subtitle T
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Auto-translate YouTube subtitles into your language — without changing how YouTube looks or feels.
WHAT IT DOES
• Turns on YouTube's auto-translation reliably (no more clicking through menus)
• Filters out noise captions like [Music], [Applause], [박수], [拍手]
• Notifies you when a video has no subtitles at all
• Available in 12 languages: English, 한국어, 日本語, Tiếng Việt, ไทย, Bahasa Indonesia, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, 简体中文, 繁體中文
NO-OVERLAP PRINCIPLE
Veolang stays out of YouTube's way. You see YouTube's native subtitle UI — same fonts, same player, same size you set. We just turn on translation and clean up noise. If a feature would risk being worse than YouTube native, we don't put it in the Free plan.
PRIVACY
• No tracking, no analytics, no server
• Settings stored locally in chrome.storage only
• Subtitle data flows directly between your browser and YouTube
• See our Privacy Policy at https://veolang.com/privacy
FREE PLAN
• 10 videos per day
• All 12 languages
• All noise filtering
• Native YouTube UI
COMING LATER (Lite, summer 2026)
For viewers who want more depth: Veolang's own readable subtitle layer (size, position, background adjustable), source + translation dual subtitles, subtitle download (.srt / .vtt), click-a-subtitle-to-jump-there.
COMING LATER (Pro, late 2026)
For Korean learners using K-pop: word-click dictionary, save words → Anki / Quizlet export, favorite-lyrics collection, LRC lyric matching.
KNOWN LIMITATION
YouTube rate-limits its auto-translation when too many requests arrive in a short time. If subtitles don't appear, wait 5-10 minutes and try again. See https://veolang.com/en/faq
