After the user clicks the "Check Status" button in the extension popup, the extension opens the official USCIS Case Status website and automatically fills in the receipt number and submits the form for convenience.

No actions occur until the user clicks the button. The extension does not run in the background and does not modify any other websites. All saved case numbers are stored locally in your browser — you control your data.
