Recently, X has been forcibly requiring users to upgrade DM to X Chat (e2ee encrypted messaging). Because X uses a proprietary, non-open-source solution, the TW DM bot currently does not support X Chat; please disable it. Methods:

Method 1 (Recommended): Go to Settings > Privacy and safety > Direct messages and turn off 'Require PIN for DMs'.

Method 2 (Alternative): Some users have reported success by changing their profile region (e.g., to Russia or other countries), then logging out and logging back in. Note: It's unclear whether the specific country matters or if simply changing regions works.
