Overview
Tab Groupper keeps Chrome tabs organized automatically without forcing you to manage every group by hand.
It groups real web pages by site as soon as they open, skips New Tab and internal Chrome pages, and lets you decide how many matching tabs should exist before grouping starts. If you want more control, you can create Custom Groups with your own name, color, and matching rules so related tabs always land in the same place.
Built for everyday browsing and focused work:
- Auto-group tabs by site
- Ignore New Tab, empty tabs, and Chrome internal pages
- Set the minimum number of matching tabs needed before grouping
- Create Custom Groups with names, colors, and matching rules
- Edit, rename, or delete groups from the popup
- Refresh groups or ungroup everything quickly
- Preserve useful manual groups by turning them into custom rules when needed
- Keep grouped tabs together and sort groups alphabetically
Tab Groupper is designed to stay simple: open the popup, set your preference, and let Chrome stay tidy in the background.
