Sourclip For Notebooklm
✨ AI-Powered View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
You find a great article, copy the URL, switch to NotebookLM, find the right notebook, click Add Source, paste it in, and wait — only to discover the imported source is packed with navigation menus, cookie banners, sidebar links, and footer text that have nothing to do with what you wanted to read. NotebookLM's AI now has to work through all of that noise to produce your summary, FAQ, or podcast script. The output suffers for it.
Sourclip fixes this.
One click on the Sourclip icon extracts only the article content — and sends it directly to the notebook you choose. No tab switching, no copy-paste, no manual cleanup.
What you get:
One-click page capture — clean article text, straight to NotebookLM
Highlight any text on any page, right-click, and send just that selection
Notebook selector in the popup — choose exactly where each capture goes
Last-used notebook remembered automatically
Capture history showing your last 20 clips and which notebook each went to
Works on articles, blog posts, research papers, and documentation
Why the clean text matters:
NotebookLM's summaries, FAQs, and podcast scripts are built from whatever you give it. Other web clippers send the raw page dump — nav menus, ads, and all. Sourclip sends only the article body, so the AI works with what the author actually wrote. Cleaner sources produce tighter summaries, more accurate FAQs, and podcast scripts that stay on topic.
Install Sourclip and capture your next article in seconds.
