SmartLearner transforms Netflix and YouTube into your personal language classroom. Instead of passively watching, you actively learn — clicking words, saving vocabulary, and testing yourself with built-in quizzes.

HOW IT WORKS

SmartLearner replaces the default video player with a learning-focused interface. Original and translated subtitles appear together so you can read along in both languages. Click any word to see its meaning instantly. Save it to review later.

FEATURES

Dual Subtitles — Show original and translated subtitles at the same time. Customize font, color, size, opacity, and shadow for each line independently. Choose from built-in presets (Classic, Minimal, Cinema, Neon, Pastel) or create your own.

Click-to-Translate — Tap any word in the subtitles to see its translation, pronunciation, and example usage. No copy-pasting, no switching tabs.

AI Sentence Breakdown — Get grammar explanations, cultural context, and word-by-word analysis for any sentence. Powered by your own OpenAI API key.

Vocabulary Tracker — Every word you save is tracked with status levels: new, learning, and mastered. Build your personal word bank as you watch.

Spaced Repetition Quizzes — Auto-generated quizzes based on your saved words. The system schedules reviews using spaced repetition so you retain what you learn.

AI Coach Panel — A contextual language coach that generates exercises based on what you are currently watching.

Full Customization — Multiple color themes (Gold, Emerald, Purple, Rose, Ocean, and more), light and dark mode, adjustable playback speed, auto-pause after each subtitle, and configurable panel positions.

Works with any subtitle language available on Netflix and YouTube. AI features support 20+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, and more.
