Smart Scroll Navigator –
✨ AI-Powered View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Tired of repeatedly dragging the scrollbar through long articles, online documents, or knowledge bases? Smart Scroll Navigator adds convenient floating controls to the edge of Chrome pages, helping you jump to the top or bottom, track page progress, and quickly find sections or saved reading positions.
It is useful for news, blogs, tutorials, research papers, technical documentation, online courses, forums, Notion pages, wikis, knowledge bases, and long dashboards.
TOP AND BOTTOM IN ONE CLICK
- Use floating buttons to scroll to the top or bottom of the current page
- Choose smooth scrolling and adjust the scrolling speed
- Use keyboard shortcuts without reaching for the scrollbar
PAGE PROGRESS AND FAST NAVIGATION
- View reading progress as a vertical button or a horizontal bar at the top or bottom
- Click the progress bar to jump directly to another part of a long page
- Save a scroll-position bookmark and resume automatically, after a prompt, or manually
- Open an on-demand page outline with previous/next section navigation and current-section highlighting
SMART WEBSITE SUPPORT
- Detects the page's actual scroll container, including many custom-scroll and SPA document layouts
- Works well with articles, documentation, Notion, wikis, knowledge bases, and admin dashboards
- Enable or disable the extension and advanced tools separately for each website
- Search and manage website states and saved reading positions from the options page
HIGHLY CUSTOMIZABLE
- Change button side, vertical position, size, shape, spacing, color, icon, and opacity
- Configure page progress, scroll bookmarks, and smart section navigation separately
- Preview settings live, temporarily hide buttons with hover plus a shortcut, and hide them automatically in fullscreen
PRIVACY FRIENDLY
Smart Scroll Navigator does not collect, transmit, sell, or analyze your browsing history, visited URLs, page content, headings, bookmark content, or personal data. Website states and scroll-position bookmarks stay in Chrome storage.
Optional anonymous usage analytics is off by default and requires explicit consent. If enabled, it sends only bucketed settings and UTC daily aggregate action counts, never visited URLs, page content, bookmark content, or a persistent user ID. You can turn it off at any time to clear pending data and revoke optional permissions.
If you are looking for a scroll-to-top button, scroll-to-bottom shortcut, reading progress bar, long-page navigator, page outline, reading-position saver, or a customizable Chrome scrolling extension for Notion and wikis, Smart Scroll Navigator brings these tools together in one lightweight extension.
