Stop retyping the same text. SlashPaste lets you save your frequently used text snippets — email templates, support replies, code blocks, addresses, boilerplate — and insert them instantly into any text field on any website, right from your keyboard.

How it works

Press the trigger key (backslash `\` by default) while focused in any input, textarea, or rich-text editor. A sleek inline picker pops up right at your cursor. Use the arrow keys to navigate your saved snippets, press Enter to insert, and you're done — no mouse required.

Privacy

SlashPaste requests only two permissions: `storage` (to save your snippets via Chrome Sync) and `activeTab` (to insert text into the page you're viewing). No data is ever sent to any server. Everything stays in your browser.
