Overview

The Slack Privacy Extension enhances your privacy by blurring sensitive Slack content until you need to view it.

Features:
- One-click privacy toggle with customizable keyboard shortcut: Quickly hide or unhide conversations using toggle in the extension popup or using a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+2 / Cmd+Shift+2)
- Blur messages, media, link previews, huddle notifications, and reaction bars
- Smart detection keeps public channels visible by default (optional blurring available)
- Simple hover to reveal blurred content with adjustable timing
- Lightweight with minimal performance impact

Ideal for:
- Screen sharing during meetings without exposing private messages
- Working in public spaces to guard yourself from prying eyes.
- Open office environments where privacy is a concern

This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any of your Slack data. It simply applies visual CSS filters to blur content until you hover over it.

Note: This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Slack Technologies, Inc.
