Overview
Six7 adds temporary private messaging and peer-to-peer file sharing to YouTube watch pages.
Privacy upfront: Six7 uses your visible YouTube @handle as your room identity. Direct messages are peer-to-peer when connected. Six7 does not store chat messages or files on a Six7 server. Cloudflare infrastructure is used only for limited presence, rendezvous, and signaling, not message or file storage.
Chat privately with other Six7 users in the same YouTube room without posting your contact info publicly. Six7 is built for quick, in-the-moment conversations during a live chat or replay session.
Six7 also supports simple peer-to-peer file sharing. Use the paperclip button, the other person accepts, and the file transfers directly between peers.
