Overview

SimSweep CC Source Tracker is a companion extension for SimSweep, the Sims 4 mods folder manager. It silently watches your downloads and remembers where you got your CC from.

When you download a .package or .ts4script file from any site, or grab a ZIP/RAR from a popular CC site, the extension captures the download URL and source page automatically.

Next time you scan your mods folder in SimSweep, it matches those downloads to your files and tags them with their source. No more forgetting where you got that hair from three months ago.

How it works:

Downloads a .package or .ts4script file? Captured automatically.
Downloads a ZIP or RAR from a known CC site? Captured too.
SimSweep not running? No problem. Downloads queue up and sync when you open it.
All communication stays local on your machine (localhost only). Nothing is sent anywhere except when SimSweep submits the source to the shared database.

Works with all major Sims 4 CC and modding sites out of the box.
