Sidearc Vertical Tabs Man
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Sidearc turns Chrome's side panel into a calm vertical tab workspace for people with too many tabs.
Create spaces for work, personal, research, clients, or projects. Keep important pages in favorites, save reusable tabs as pins, organize saved tabs into folders, and switch context without losing your place.
Features:
- Vertical tabs inside Chrome's side panel
- Spaces for separate projects, clients, workflows, or parts of your life
- Favorites, pins, folders, and saved tabs
- Search across open tabs, saved tabs, folders, and Google
- Bookmark import that can turn bookmark folders into Sidearc spaces
- Rename noisy tab titles inside Sidearc without changing the real page title
- Group tabs by domain for easier scanning
- Quick shortcuts for opening Sidearc, switching to your most recent tab
- Quick-Copy the current tab URL with shift-cmd-L
- Appearance controls for theme, UI scale, accent color, backgrounds, undo popups, and favicon style
- Optional account sync for keeping your Sidearc setup across your own browsers
Sidearc works locally by default and is built to make Chrome feel organized again.
Limitations:
- Chrome controls the side panel's minimum width, so Sidearc cannot make the native side panel narrower than Chrome allows.
Sidearc is the tabs Chrome should've shipped.
