Selfiegate Companion

SelfieGate Companion helps you finish an on-screen liveness selfie check when the operator of a supported appointment portal sends you a verification link. It activates only when you open such a link — at all other times it does nothing.

WHAT IT DOES
• Detects when you open a verification link issued to you (the link contains an encoded session token).
• Applies the network settings the appointment portal requires for the session to be accepted.
• Loads the OzForensics Liveness SDK on the verification page so you can complete a short on-screen selfie check using your webcam.
• Returns the verification result (a session token) so the operator who issued the link can complete the appointment workflow.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• It does NOT collect your name, email, address, passport, ID number, or any identity documents.
• It does NOT capture or store your facial video — the liveness check is performed entirely by the OzForensics SDK, which returns only a session token to the extension.
• It does NOT track you across other websites or build a browsing profile.
• It does NOT show ads or sell data.
• It does NOT modify content on any website unrelated to the active verification flow.

THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
The on-screen liveness check is provided by the OzForensics Liveness SDK, loaded at runtime from the official OzForensics CDN. The SDK handles all camera access, video capture, and liveness analysis. SelfieGate Companion does not receive raw biometric data — only the session token returned by the SDK after a successful check.

WHEN TO USE THIS EXTENSION
Use this extension only if you have been issued a verification link by the operator of a supported appointment portal. Without such a link the extension stays dormant and performs no actions.
