SectorLens includes a complete watchlist manager built directly into TradingView — no popup, no separate tab. It slides out as a side panel without disrupting your chart view.

MULTIPLE WATCHLISTS (TABS)
Create as many watchlists as you need. Switch between them with a single click. Each watchlist is completely independent with its own sections and symbols.

Examples of how traders organise their watchlists:
- "Swing Trades" / "Long Term" / "Watchlist" / "Earnings Week"
- "Nifty 50" / "Midcap" / "Smallcap"

SECTIONS WITHIN EACH WATCHLIST
Each watchlist can have multiple named sections, so you can group stocks by theme, sector, strategy, or any criteria you choose. Add as many sections as you like. Delete sections you no longer need.

SYMBOL SEARCH WITH AUTOCOMPLETE
Start typing any NSE stock name or symbol in the search bar, and SectorLens instantly shows matching results from the complete NSE symbol database. Select any result to add it to your currently selected section. The search covers both ticker symbols (e.g. RELIANCE) and full company names (e.g. Reliance Industries).

ONE-CLICK SYMBOL SWITCHING
Click any stock in your watchlist to instantly switch the TradingView chart to that symbol. The watchlist remains open and exactly where you left it — no page reloads that reset your layout.

NOTES FOR EVERY STOCK
Attach a personal note to any stock in your watchlist. Use notes to record:
- Your trade idea and rationale
- Entry/exit targets
- Key levels to watch
- Earnings dates or events
- Risk management rules for that position

Notes are saved automatically and shown with a small indicator on the stock row so you always know which stocks have notes attached.

RENAME WATCHLISTS AND SECTIONS
Double-click any watchlist tab name or section name to rename it instantly. Press Enter to save, Escape to cancel. Names are saved immediately.

DELETE STOCKS EASILY
Remove any stock from your watchlist with a single click. A quick confirmation ensures you don't accidentally delete stocks.

DRAG AND DROP REORDERING
Rearrange stocks within a section by dragging them to the position you want. Keeping your most important stocks at the top has never been easier.

KEYBOARD NAVIGATION
Navigate your watchlist without using the mouse. Hover the watchlist panel and use:
- Arrow Up / Arrow Down to move through your stock list
- Enter to switch the chart to the highlighted stock

EXPORT
Export all your watchlists to a single JSON file with one click. Use this to:
- Back up your watchlists before clearing your browser data
- Transfer your watchlists to another device or browser profile
- Share your watchlist setup with a colleague

IMPORT
Import a previously exported JSON file to restore or merge your watchlists. SectorLens intelligently merges the imported watchlists with your existing ones — it does not overwrite, it combines. Duplicate stocks are automatically handled.

SectorLens is designed to feel native to TradingView's dark interface. The panel uses a dark glassmorphism aesthetic — a frosted dark glass look with subtle transparency, smooth borders, and clean typography that blends naturally with TradingView's own UI without clashing or distracting from your charts.

The panel is fully draggable — click and drag the header to position it anywhere on the screen. Your preferred position is remembered across sessions.

1. Install SectorLens from the Chrome Web Store
2. Open TradingView (tradingview.com) and navigate to any chart
3. The SectorLens panel appears automatically in the corner of your screen
4. Load any NSE stock — the sector and subsector information appears instantly
5. Click the "Watchlist ▶" button to expand the watchlist panel
6. Use the "+" button to create a new watchlist tab
7. Use the "+ Add Section" button to create a section inside your watchlist
8. Start searching for NSE stocks using the search bar
9. Click any stock in the list to switch the chart to that symbol
