Overview
■ Track your fingertip trip
Social feeds, news, Wikipedia, work chats.
You open a page for a quick look, and before you know it, you have scrolled quite a lot.
ScrollJunky is a just-for-fun browser extension that converts your scrolling into distance (km).
- How many kilometers did you scroll today?
- How far could your lifetime scroll take you?
- How many Mt. Fujis is that?
Casually race scrollers around the world, or just enjoy watching your own record grow.
No account required. You can use ScrollJunky locally too.
No productivity promise. No health metric. Just a more interesting way to look at everyday scrolling.
■ Features
- See your 24-hour, 7-day, and lifetime scroll distance
- See distance in easy-to-picture ways, like "Mt. Fuji x times" or "a full marathon x times"
- Join 24-hour, 7-day, and all-time leaderboards, optionally
- Share your distance as a score card image on social media
- Use it as a personal scroll meter without joining the rankings
■ How it works
1. Open ScrollJunky from the toolbar
2. Opt in to rankings, or keep using it locally
3. Browse as usual. ScrollJunky automatically turns your scrolling into distance
■ Privacy
ScrollJunky records only the number created by converting your scroll amount into distance.
It does not record or collect the URLs you visit, page contents, or anything you type.
You can opt out of rankings anytime.
When you opt out, your distance data stays on-device.
Add a little fun to today's browsing. Start your fingertip trip.
