This simple extension draws grid overlay on top of any video you are watching on any website*.
Toggle On/Off by pressing on the extension icon (you can also set the hotkey for this in chrome://extensions/shortcuts).
Works great on both embedded and full screen videos on YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, TikTok, etc.
You can customize:
- Number of columns/rows in the grid
- Use golden ratio/phi (for 3x3 only)
- Color of the grid overlay, lines thickness & transparency
- Draw grids over images as well

*While the extension works well on main platforms it may not work correctly on some websites. Known limitations:
- Reddit videos
- Embedded videos may not show correct borders (black bars will be not excluded for drawing grids). Examples: CivitAI (uses embedded Vimeo). You may watch on the original website in that case.
