Overview
Resurface helps you save browser tabs with context and find them when they matter.
• Save in one click — Use the toolbar icon or Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac). A dialog shows suggested topics and intents so you can tag the page quickly.
• Context is kept — We store the page title, URL, referrer (e.g. search query), and favicon so you remember why you saved it.
• Smart suggestions — Topics and intents are suggested from the page, your past saves, and (for intents) your recent browsing history. You can type to search or add new tags.
• Find your saves — Search from any page with Ctrl+Shift+F, use the custom New Tab (saved items + recent history), or open the full dashboard to filter and search.
• Duplicate-tab awareness — Optional: see if a link is already open (hover) or get a notice when you open a duplicate. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Your data, your control — All data is stored in your browser. Optional: auto-backup, encrypted export, and restore. Optional sync to a local endpoint (localhost only) for your own tools.
No account or server required. Data stays on your device unless you choose to export or sync.
