Remove Multi Titles Youtu
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
YouTube sometimes shows different titles and thumbnails for the same video (for example A/B tests). This add-on remembers the first title and thumbnail you see for each video and keeps showing that on the player and in list-style pages (home, subscriptions, search, related videos, and similar).
How it works: The first time a title/thumbnail appears for a video, it is saved locally in your browser. On later visits, that same one is always shown again for that video ID. Updates run after navigation (including YouTube’s in-page history changes), with short retries so metadata can load—there is no aggressive continuous polling of the whole page.
Scope: The add-on only runs on youtube.com. It does not run on other sites.
Privacy: No accounts, no analytics, and no requests to our servers. Pinned items are stored only in the browser’s extension storage on your device. See the privacy policy link on this listing for details.
Requirements: Firefox 140 or newer (desktop). Firefox for Android 142 or newer, where applicable.
