Overview
Automatically removes top-level Reddit comments that contain only images or GIFs with no text. Works on old and new Reddit.
If you browse Reddit for discussion, you know the problem: comment sections flooded with image replies that add nothing to the conversation. No text, no context — just a GIF or a meme link dropped as a top-level comment.
Reddit Image Comment Filter removes them automatically, silently, on page load.
What it removes
Top-level (parent) comments that contain only images, GIF links, imgur links, i.redd.it links, giphy, gfycat, or redgifs — with zero accompanying text. If a comment has even a single word alongside the image, it stays.
What it keeps
Any comment with real text. Comments with images AND commentary are always preserved.
