RagTab is a privacy-first Chrome extension combining a powerful tab manager with local AI that answers questions about your open tabs—all processed in-browser, no raw data leaves your device.

Tab Power: Live search, bulk actions (close/move/pin/discard), window color-coding, drag-and-drop, duplicate detection, keyboard nav, sessions.

AI Magic: Sync tabs → extracts/chunks/embeds locally → ask "Where's React Server Components info?" → cited answers from top snippets via Gemini/OpenAI/Anthropic.

What Makes It Different ??
Most tab managers just close tabs. Most AI assistants just chat. RagTab does both — it indexes the actual content of your open tabs locally using vector embeddings, then lets you ask natural language questions like:

"Which tab had the article about React Server Components?"
"Summarize what I've been reading about climate policy"
"Where did I see that pricing comparison for cloud providers?"
All indexing happens in your browser. Only the top matching text snippets ever reach an AI provider — never full page content.
