WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Most watch party extensions stop at a text chat sidebar. Popcornado includes full voice and video calls built in, so you don't need to juggle a Discord call on the side. When someone starts talking, Netflix automatically lowers its volume so you can hear them — then smoothly fades back up when they stop. It's a small thing that makes a big difference over a two-hour movie.

HOW IT WORKS

Open any Netflix video, click the Popcornado icon, and start a party. Share the generated code or invite link with friends. They install the extension, enter the code, and they're in. The whole thing takes under 30 seconds.

Supports up to 8 people per party. Currently works on Netflix — Disney+, Prime Video, and other platforms are in the works.

PRIVACY

Everything is peer-to-peer. Your video, audio, and chat go directly between participants — nothing passes through our servers, because we don't have any. No analytics, no tracking, no account required. The only thing stored locally is your display name and preferences.
