Overview

Paybooks Payslip Downloader lets you download all your salary payslips from the Paybooks ESS portal (ess.paybooks.in) in bulk — organized neatly by financial year.

Features:
- Download all payslips at once or select specific months
- Payslips organized into folders by financial year (e.g. 2025-2026/Payslip-2026-02.pdf)
- Downloads continue even if you close the popup
- Skips payslips you have already downloaded
- Progress bar with per-payslip status
- Cancel anytime without losing completed downloads
- Automatic retry on network failures
- Session expiry detection with clear instructions

Privacy-first design:
- No account creation, no sign-up
- No data collection, no analytics, no telemetry
- No external servers — talks only to the Paybooks API
- PDFs download directly to your computer
- Extension does nothing unless you open the popup and click download

How to use:
1. Log in to the Paybooks ESS portal (ess.paybooks.in)
2. Click the extension icon in your toolbar
3. Select payslips and click Download
4. Files appear in your Downloads folder
