Parsley For Gmail

Parsley for Gmail brings the Parsley AI drafting agent into your Gmail workflow. Open the side panel, tell the agent what you want to say, and the draft populates directly in your open Gmail compose window — informed by your Parsley account's history with the relevant client.

WHAT IT DOES

• Drafts informed emails. Parsley pulls from your client's recent activity (past meetings, conversations, tasks) so the draft reflects real context — not a generic template.
• Writes directly into your compose window. No copy-pasting. The subject and body land in your open compose so you can review, tweak, and send.
• Iterates with you. Ask "make it shorter," "more formal," or "add a line about the timeline," and the same draft updates in place. Manual edits you make in the compose window are preserved across iterations.
• Works for replies and new emails. Click Reply on a thread or open a new compose window — Parsley adapts to either.

HOW TO USE IT

1. Install the extension and open Gmail.
2. Click the Parsley icon in your toolbar to open the side panel.
3. Paste your Parsley authorization key in Settings (one-time setup).
4. Open a Gmail compose window — the side panel becomes active.
5. Tell Parsley what you want to write. The draft populates in your compose window. Review it, tweak it, send when ready.

REQUIREMENTS

• An active Parsley account at useparsley.ai
• A Gmail account connected to your Parsley account (the Gmail connection you set up in Parsley provides the permissions the extension uses)

PRIVACY

Parsley only acts on the emails you explicitly ask it to draft. Drafts are saved to your normal Gmail Drafts folder; nothing is sent automatically — you always review and click Send yourself. Your Parsley authorization key is stored locally in your browser and never shared with third parties. See our privacy policy for full details on data handling.
