Overview
Turn any web page into a little chaos playground.
▎
▎ Page Random Event waits for random moments, picks random elements on the page, and hits them with a random animation — a spinner, an RGB color wash over text, a drifting headline, a shake, a bounce, a flip, a blur, a glitch, and more. No two moments look the same.
▎
▎ You're always in control
▎ • One‑tap ON/OFF — instantly start or stop the chaos on every open tab.
▎ • Frequency slider — how often new animations fire.
▎ • Intensity slider — how many elements animate at once, and how strong and fast the effects are.
▎ • Global settings — your choice syncs across all tabs and survives a browser restart.
▎
▎ Polite to the pages it plays with
▎ • Animations are temporary. When each one ends, the extension fully removes its inline styles and classes, so page layout is never left broken.
▎ • Turning it OFF performs an immediate, complete cleanup.
▎ • Background tabs are skipped to save resources.
▎ • Core page structure (html/body/scripts) is never touched — only visible on‑screen elements.
▎
▎ Great for a fun desktop prank, a lively demo, or just brightening up a boring page.
▎
▎ No account. No tracking. No data ever leaves your browser.
Single purpose (required field)
▎ Add playful, random CSS animations to elements on the pages you visit, with a popup to turn the effect on or off and adjust how often and how strongly it happens.
Permission justification
▎ storage — saves your on/off state and slider values so they persist across tabs and browser restarts. Nothing is transmitted anywhere; data stays in your browser via chrome.storage.sync.
Privacy
▎ This extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All settings are stored locally in the browser's sync storage.
