Msgmg

msg.mg is a privacy-first companion extension for encrypted communication and
private storage.

Use it to create one-time encrypted notes and files, open private chats, start
voice calls, and work with your encrypted password vault directly from the
browser.

What the extension does:

- Create encrypted one-time notes
- Create encrypted one-time files up to 256 KB
- Open msg.mg chats and voice calls
- Save website logins into your encrypted msg.mg vault
- Fill saved logins on websites when you choose to use them
- Keep passwords out of the browser's built-in password manager
- Work with the same msg.mg storage model used by the web app

Privacy model:

msg.mg encrypts sensitive data in the browser before it is sent to the service.
The service stores encrypted payloads and cannot read your notes, files, vault
items, chats or passwords.

Password manager note:

Passwords are stored in the encrypted msg.mg vault, not in the browser's
built-in password manager. The extension can detect login forms locally and
offer to save or fill credentials when you allow it.
