Overview
Requires Ollama installed and running on your machine. This extension does not work without it!!!
Local-Agent Ollama is a private AI assistant and browser automation tool powered by your local Ollama server. All processing happens on your device — no data is sent to any external server.
Setup (required before use):
1. Install Ollama from ollama.com
2. Start it: OLLAMA_ORIGINS="*" ollama serve
3. Pull a model. (ex: ollama pull llama3). Agentic only works with high parameter models.
Features:
- Chat with any webpage: reference open tabs with @tabname
- Agent mode: AI navigates, clicks, types, and reads pages autonomously
- Fully private: runs on your machine via localhost
