Overview
IP2Location IP Geolocation is an extension to get information about the geographical location of the web server based on the IP address of the URL links in web pages. You can prevent phishing activities by know more about the servers information. It is easy to use as you can now see the information on the same page in a nicely formatted box. See information like the IP address, country, state, city, Autonomous System Number (ASN), Autonomous System name (AS), latitude, longitude as well as the server time.
To use this extension, you just put your mouse over a link and a tiny icon will appear, click on that icon to retrieve information for that URL.
In the information box that appears, you also have access to 3 useful features under [More Tools]; these are the ability to ping that IP address, perform traceroute or view that URL from our proxies which are located around the globe.
