Hide Youtube Shorts — Blo

Your subscription feed is half Shorts now. You subscribed for full videos, but YouTube keeps mixing in 15-second clips between every upload. Search for something specific and Shorts fill half the results. There's no setting to turn this off.

This extension gives your subscriptions back. Shorts disappear from your feed — only the videos you subscribed for remain. Same for search: you get actual results, not vertical clips you didn't ask for.

It covers six pages total. Home, Subscriptions, Trending, Search, Recommended, and Notifications.

Beyond hiding, there's a full blocking system. Type a channel name and everything from that creator is gone — not just their Shorts, all of it. Or set keyword filters: any word you pick gets matched against titles and channel names automatically.

What else you can do:

• Play Shorts as regular videos — standard YouTube player with pause, rewind, speed controls.
• Connect your YouTube account in the Profile tab — see your subscriptions, liked videos, disliked videos.
• Mass unfollow channels you no longer watch — clean up years of dead subscriptions in one go.
• Bulk like and dislike cleanup coming soon — clear out old reactions at once.
• Separate toggles for livestreams and premieres on Home and Subscriptions. Finished livestreams too.
• Remove the Shorts button from the sidebar and the Shorts tab from channel pages.
• Clean Shorts from your watch history.
• Hide the movies section.

Turbo mode runs a MutationObserver that catches Shorts elements before they render. No page refresh needed.

Pin your most-used filters to the popup home screen. Stats cards track active filters, blocked channels, and days since install.
