URL Crawl and Site Inventory
Discover every same-domain URL linked from your site without running accessibility scans. Useful for content audits, site mapping, and QA planning before a full accessibility review. Export the complete URL list to CSV with status, source page, and timestamp. Export document link URLs in a separate CSV so you can track downloadable files (for example ebooks and office documents) that may also need accessibility review.

HTML Code Copier

HOW TO USE HALFACCESSIBLE

1. Install the extension and pin it to your Chrome toolbar.
2. Navigate to any http or https webpage you want to test.
3. Click the HalfAccessible icon to open the side panel.
4. Choose a tool:
Tools tab — enable Target Size Checker, Text Spacing, or HTML Copier on the page
Automated tab — run a single-page axe scan or a full-site accessibility crawl
URLs tab — crawl and export your site URL inventory
Insights tab — browse and highlight DOM elements by category
5. Review results, highlight issues on the page, and export CSV reports as needed.

Yes. HalfAccessible is a free Chrome accessibility testing extension.

Does it work on any website?
It works on standard http and https web pages. Browser internal pages such as chrome:// URLs, extension pages, edge:// pages, about: pages, and DevTools are not supported.

What automated rules does it use?
Automated scans are powered by axe-core, one of the most widely used open-source accessibility testing engines for detecting WCAG violations in web applications.

Can I audit an entire website?
Yes. Use the Automated tab to run axe-core scans across every page on the same domain, or use the URLs tab to inventory all links and document URLs without running accessibility scans.

Does it fix accessibility issues automatically?
No. HalfAccessible identifies, lists, and highlights issues so your development team can fix them in code. It is a testing and reporting tool, not an auto-remediation tool.

Does it store my data?
Scan results and crawl history are saved locally in your browser per domain. Your audit data stays on your device.

What WCAG level does it test against?
Automated axe-core rules cover many WCAG 2.x Level A and AA issues. Manual tools support WCAG 2.5.8 target size and WCAG 1.4.12 text spacing testing. Automated tools catch a large portion of issues, but a complete WCAG audit still requires manual review for criteria automation cannot fully evaluate.
