Overview
Grokiphile enhances the way you browse Wikipedia by giving you immediate access to the Grokipedia version of an article whenever one exists. Since Wikipedia and Grokipedia often frame topics differently, Grokiphile makes it easy to compare both perspectives without interrupting your reading experience.
When you open a Wikipedia article, Grokiphile automatically detects the page title and constructs the corresponding Grokipedia link. It then checks whether that article exists on Grokipedia. If it does, a small, unobtrusive indicator appears next to the article heading. Clicking it opens the Grokipedia version in a new tab. For users who want a completely seamless experience, there is an optional auto-redirect mode that sends you directly to the Grokipedia article whenever it is available.
Grokiphile is lightweight, fast, and built entirely with vanilla JavaScript. It runs locally in your browser, does not communicate with external servers, and does not collect or store any personal data. Your browsing history and reading activity remain entirely private.
Whether you are researching a topic, verifying information, or simply exploring how different sources present the same subject, Grokiphile makes switching between Wikipedia and Grokipedia effortless and intuitive. Install it to browse with more context, more clarity, and more control.
