Grok Bookmark exports conversations from grok.com to well-structured Markdown files — with optional AI-powered TLDR summaries.

HOW TO USE

1. Navigate to any conversation on grok.com
2. Click the Grok Bookmark icon in your toolbar
3. Configure your preferred settings (AI provider, language, export mode)
4. Click "Export Current Chat"
5. Your Markdown file is saved to Downloads/grok-chat-bookmark/ by default

ADVANCED: NATIVE HELPER (macOS)

Install the optional Native Helper to save exported files directly to any folder on your Mac instead of the Downloads directory. Click "Download Install Script" in the popup to get started.

PERMISSIONS

- storage: Save your settings and export history locally
- tabs: Detect the active Grok tab for content extraction
- downloads: Save exported Markdown files to your Downloads folder
- nativeMessaging: Communicate with the optional local Native Helper for custom file saving
- offscreen: Technical requirement for creating download URLs in Manifest V3
