Overview
Export transcripts from Google Drive videos in one click.
Step 1 — Install the Extension (one-time only)
Open any class recording on Google Drive
Step 2 — Enable the Extension (one-time only)
Click the Settings icon on the video and select "Transcript"
Step 3 — Open a Class Recording
Navigate to your class recording on Google Drive
Step 4 — Load the Transcript
Click the Settings icon on the video player and select "Transcript"
Step 5 — Download the Transcript
Once the transcript appears, click the extension icon and hit Download
⚠️ Important: Repeat Steps 3–5 for every new recording. Always open the video first before downloading, otherwise you will get the transcript from the previously opened video.
Open the transcript panel on any Drive video, then use the extension to:
• Download the full transcript as a .txt file with timestamps
• Copy with [0:42] timestamp format — ready to paste anywhere
• Copy plain text — continuous prose, perfect for AI tools or notes
