Overview
Getting IPL tickets on District is a race. The queue opens, hundreds of people pile in within seconds, and if you're half a second late — you're at the back. Ticket Sniper was built specifically for this problem.
The extension sits on the District event page, watches for the booking button, and clicks it the moment it appears. No delay, no fumbling — just an instant queue join while everyone else is still reaching for their mouse.

HOW IT WORKS
──────────────────────────────────────
1. Open the IPL 2026 tab in the extension
2. Find your match (CSK, SRH, PBKS, DC or RR home games only)
3. Tap ⚡ — the extension opens the District page and arms itself automatically
4. When the queue opens, it fires the click instantly
5. You get a browser notification confirming you're in
That's it. You don't need to watch the screen.

SUPPORTED TEAMS
──────────────────────────────────────
Ticket Sniper works for the five IPL teams that sell their home match tickets exclusively through District by Zomato:
- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 🟡
- Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) 🟠
- Punjab Kings (PBKS) 🔴
- Delhi Capitals (DC) 🔵
- Rajasthan Royals (RR) ⚪️
All 30 home matches for the 2026 season are built in.

TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR QUEUE POSITION
──────────────────────────────────────
A few things that actually make a difference:
- Use WiFi or a wired connection, not mobile data. Mobile networks add extra latency due to the additional hops between your device, the cell tower, and the network provider. Even a few hundred milliseconds can affect where you land in the queue during a high-demand drop.
- Don't set the check interval too low. Going below 500ms won't help and can actually hurt — you'll exhaust your maximum attempts much faster and the sniper will stop before tickets even go live. The default 1000ms is the sweet spot.
- Keep the District tab active and in the foreground when the drop is expected. Some browsers throttle background tabs, which can delay how quickly the sniper fires.
- Close other heavy tabs before the drop. Fewer things competing for browser resources means faster response time.
- Know the exact drop time in advance. Check District's event page the day before — they usually show a countdown timer. Have the extension armed and ready a few minutes early.
- Don't refresh the page manually while the sniper is running. A refresh reloads the content script and resets the attempt counter.
