Overview
Fun Fact quietly generates surprising fun facts triggered by something you just read in a blog but paid no extra attention to.
The fun fact is never about the main topic. It always pivots sideways into territory you wouldn't expect: biography, linguistics, law, science, or human behavior. The kind of thing you'd tell someone else over coffee.
How it works:
- A small icon appears in the bottom-right corner of qualifying pages.
- Up to 3 facts per article, one per scroll zone, navigable via history arrows.
- Click the anchor chip to jump to the exact passage that triggered the fact
- Verified facts show a green badge; unverifiable claims show no badge
What it doesn't do:
- Never runs on email, banking, checkout, search, or video pages
- Never stores your browsing history or personal data
- Never interrupts forms or sensitive workflows
- Quality over quantity: if no high-confidence fact can be generated, nothing is shown. We'd rather show nothing than show something forgettable or wrong.
