Overview
FNO Tools is a productivity extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations power users. It adds configurable, local-only UX improvements that run directly in your browser — no server, no account, no data collection.
FEATURES
Profile system
Scope all features to specific F&O environments using URL match patterns. Each profile has its own feature settings and enable/disable toggles.
NavBar coloring
Automatically colors the F&O navigation bar based on the active legal entity. Set a distinct color per entity so you always know which company you are working in.
MessageBar auto-dismissal
Automatically closes F&O warning bars that match configured rules. Rules can be scoped to a specific page (mi= URL parameter), legal entity (cmp= URL parameter), and warning text. Eliminates repetitive click-through for known, safe warnings.
Session keep-alive
Automatically clicks the "Are you still there?" inactivity dialog before your F&O session times out. Configurable scan interval, backoff, and safety limits.
Auto-refresh
Refreshes specific F&O pages at a configured interval. Useful for monitoring list pages that do not auto-update. Scoped by page and legal entity.
PRIVACY
FNO Tools collects no data. All settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in local storage. No telemetry, no network calls, no third-party services.
