Browser Extension Health Check Helper is a small utility for everyday users. It helps you quickly see which extensions are installed in your browser, what powerful permissions each one has, and provides an easy-to-understand risk level with clear action suggestions.

The goal is not to scare you, but to make it obvious at a glance:

Which extensions have very powerful permissions and deserve extra attention.

Which extensions are medium-risk and are better used with caution or limited usage.

Which extensions are relatively low-risk and generally safe to keep.

🧪 One-click health check for installed extensions
Automatically reads all installed items of type extension in your browser and generates a health-check list.

🔐 Risk evaluation based on permissions and install type
Combines key permissions (such as accessing all websites, reading/modifying cookies, intercepting network requests, viewing browsing history, etc.) with the install source (normal install / developer mode / side-loaded, etc.) to rate each extension from low to critical risk.

🎯 Highlighted key risk factors
For high-risk and critical-risk extensions, the tool additionally lists “key risk factors”, for example:

Intercepting and modifying network requests

Reading and modifying browsing history / cookies

Installed via developer mode or side-loading

Provides plain-language guidance based on the risk level, such as:

Safe to keep, but recommended to review from time to time.

Supports Chinese, English, Japanese, French and Russian. You can switch languages from the dropdown in the top-right corner.

Offers several visual themes (dark, blue glow, neon, sunset, cyber green, etc.) and a “Rescan” button, so you can quickly re-run the health check after installing or removing extensions.
