Overview
The PCU Liveness Check extension is a secure utility designed to bridge the gap between our health application and the PhilHealth Member Portal.
When an authorized user completes a transaction on the PhilHealth portal, this extension activates to securely extract the transaction details (Transaction No., PIN, and Name) and safely captures a visual receipt of the confirmation page. It then uses end-to-end envelope encryption to transmit this verification data back to our secure application.
This extension is built with strict privacy and HIPAA-compliance in mind. It only activates on the specific PhilHealth portal page, automatically purges memory after transmission, and does not track users across other websites.
