Overview

Every headline you read has been engineered to make you feel something before you think anything.
"Chilling." "Devastating." "Slams." "You won't believe." These aren't informational words — they're instructions. They tell you how to feel about a story before you've evaluated a single fact. Every news outlet does it. Every YouTube creator does it. Every social media post competing for your attention does it.
You've been reading through this manipulation layer your entire life. You just couldn't see it.
Now you can.

WHAT IT DOES
DSAIN Clarity Lens highlights emotionally loaded words in real time — Works on major video platforms, social media networks, and news websites — over 25 sites where emotionally loaded language is most concentrated. See the full list of supported sites in the popup after installation. Loaded words are color-coded and underlined directly in the text you're already reading. Hover over any highlighted word to see exactly what type of manipulation it is.
Four categories, each color-coded:
Emotional Intensifiers (amber) — words like "shocking," "devastating," "unprecedented" that amplify your emotional response beyond what the facts warrant.
Loaded Verbs (red) — words like "slams," "destroys," "doubles down" that editorialize an action instead of describing it. "Criticizes" becomes "blasts." "Disagrees" becomes "eviscerates." Same facts, completely different feeling.
Fear and Urgency Signals (purple) — phrases like "breaking," "crisis," "you won't believe," "this changes everything" that create artificial urgency to override your analytical thinking.
Manipulative Framing (pink) — constructions like "critics slam," "raising eyebrows," "in a stunning move," "sources say" that pre-load your interpretation before presenting facts.
Each article, post, or video title gets an Emotional Loading Index (ELI) — the percentage of words that are emotionally loaded. A Reuters wire report scores near 0%. A sensationalized headline scores 8-12%. A viral social media post can score 15%+.

THIS IS NOT A FACT-CHECKER
Fact-checkers tell you what's true or false. The Clarity Lens does something different — it shows you how the truth is being packaged. A headline can be 100% factually accurate and still be manipulative. "Stock market declines 2.3%" and "Markets PLUNGE in DEVASTATING crash" describe the same event. One informs you. The other controls how you feel about it.
The Clarity Lens doesn't judge content. It reveals technique. You decide what to think.

WHY THIS MATTERS
Emotionally loaded language bypasses critical thinking. Decades of research in cognitive psychology — from Kahneman and Tversky's framing effects to Cialdini's persuasion science — shows that how information is framed determines how people respond to it, often more than the information itself. Every media organization, content creator, and political communicator knows this. Now you know it too — in real time, on every page you visit.
Once you see the highlighting, you can't unsee it. That's the point.

WHERE IT WORKS
Works on major video platforms, social media networks, and news websites — over 25 sites where emotionally loaded language is most concentrated. See the full list of supported sites in the popup after installation.

BUILT FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT
DSAIN Clarity Lens is built by DSAIN Research Labs. It is free, with no accounts, no subscriptions, and no data collection. It runs 100% in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, stored, or tracked. Your browsing stays completely private.

WHAT'S COMING NEXT
This version highlights the manipulation. Future releases will go further — using AI to generate a fully neutral restatement of any article, showing only what happened, to whom, with what measurable consequences, according to what sources. The loaded version and the clean version, side by side.
Install it. See what you've been missing.
