Queries multiple DNS resolvers via Cloudflare DoH and Google DoH to check whether your DNS requests are being handled by your VPN or silently routed through your ISP. An ISP-handled DNS server means your browsing activity is visible even with a VPN active.
🌐 WebRTC IP Leak Detection
Chrome's built-in WebRTC API can expose your real IP address even when a VPN is connected. DNS Shield probes STUN servers to detect any IP addresses leaking outside your VPN tunnel — a vulnerability most VPN apps cannot prevent on their own.
🔢 IPv6 Leak Detection
Many VPNs only tunnel IPv4 traffic, leaving IPv6 completely unprotected. DNS Shield detects whether IPv6 is active on your connection and flags it as a potential bypass risk.
