Cookie Ingredient – Know What's Inside Your Browser

Most websites serve you cookies, but they rarely tell you the recipe. Cookie Ingredient acts as digital nutrition label for your browser, revealing exactly what tracking scripts and data collectors are baked into the sites you visit.

What's on the menu?

* Privacy Score Gauge: Every site gets a score from 0–100. Targeting cookies get weighted heavily, necessary cookies bring it down. At a glance you know if a site is "Low Risk" or lighting up "High Risk" red.

* Educational Flip Cards: Don't just block; understand. Tap the four category cards to learn the difference between a "Strictly Necessary" login token and a "Targeting" tracker following you around the web.

* Storage Inspector: Cookies aren't the whole story. The new Storage tab exposes what sites stash in localStorage and sessionStorage; with byte sizes, collapsible sections, and a one-click wipe (with a confirmation modal, because we're not monsters).

* Heuristic Engine: We don't just read labels. Our algorithm analyzes cookie behavior, flags (HttpOnly, Secure), and naming patterns to identify trackers that try to hide, even if they aren't in our database.

*Filter & Browse: Pill-shaped category filters let you zero in on just Functional, Performance, Targeting, or Necessary cookies. No more scrolling through everything.

*Per-Site Protection: Hit the lock icon to protect a site's cookies from accidental clearing.
It remembers your choice across sessions.

*Community Powered: Backed by the massive Open Cookie Database, giving you granular details on vendors and retention periods.

*Zero Calorie Footprint: Built with Vite for instant performance.
Dark mode included, and it remembers your preference.
