Overview
Confluence to Markdown Exporter converts any Confluence page into a clean, portable Markdown file
— complete with images, tables, code blocks, and macros — packaged into a single .zip for easy
use in GitHub, GitLab, Obsidian, Notion, or any Markdown-based workflow.
What it exports:
- Full page content converted to standard Markdown (headings, bold, italic, lists, tables, inline
code)
- Images and attachments downloaded and bundled in an images/ folder, with all links updated
automatically
- Code blocks with language syntax hints preserved
- Info, warning, tip, and note panels converted to Markdown blockquotes
- Expand/collapsible sections flattened into readable content
- Gliffy and draw.io diagrams captured as images
- Jira issue tables converted to Markdown tables
- Column layouts, status labels, and TOC macros handled gracefully
Options you control:
- Toggle image/attachment download on or off
- Toggle macro capture (Gliffy, draw.io) on or off
- Toggle Jira issue table conversion on or off
- Toggle metadata header (source URL + export timestamp) on or off
Works with:
