Overview
Automatically blocks distracting websites when Codex is not running.
Codex Blocker helps you stay focused by tying website access to Codex activity. When Codex is actively running inference, your selected sites are available. When Codex goes idle, a soft block appears instead of a hard stop.
This is not a generic site blocker. It is designed specifically for developers who use Codex and want their distractions unlocked only when real work is happening.
How it works
• Codex running → sites are unblocked
• Codex idle → a gentle overlay blocks distracting sites
• Optional “roast mode” for extra accountability
• Add, delete, or modify the phrases you want shown
• One emergency override per day if you really need it
No timers. No rigid schedules. No permanent lockouts.
Setup
This extension requires a lightweight local Codex listener to detect activity. Setup takes about 2 minutes.
