ClearRead gives you a distraction-free reader mode and a local read-later reading list — no subscription, no account, no tracking.

Open any article and click Read Mode to strip away ads, navigation, sidebars, and clutter. The clean reader view lets you focus on the content. Adjust font size, line height, and switch between Dark, Light, and Sepia themes. All settings persist between sessions.

HOW TO USE:
1. Install ClearRead from the Chrome Web Store
2. Navigate to any article or web page
3. Click the ClearRead icon in your toolbar
4. Click "Read Mode" to open a clean reading view, or "Save for Later" to add to your reading list
5. Access saved articles from the Reading List tab; export as JSON anytime

PRIVACY:
ClearRead does not collect, transmit, or share any data. No analytics, no accounts, no remote servers. All reading list data and settings are stored locally in your browser only.
