Overview
Cite Verse is a Chrome extension for sermons and Bible-based talks. It captures the audio from your current tab (e.g. a sermon or teaching), sends it to CiteVerse, and shows Bible verses as they’re detected—in real time in a side panel. So you can follow along with the text of the verses while you listen.
Why install it?
a. See verses as they’re mentioned – No need to pause or search; verses appear in the side panel as the speaker references them.
b. Built for sermons and Bible content – Designed for preachers, teachers, and anyone listening to or studying Bible-based content.
c. Works with CiteVerse – Uses your CiteVerse account (citeverse.live) so you can save sessions, revisit “journeys,” and keep everything in one place.
d. Stays out of the way – Runs in a side panel so your video or audio tab stays full screen while verses are visible beside it.
How to use it
1. Install the extension and sign in (or sign up) at citeverse.live.
2. Open the sermon or teaching you want to watch or listen to in a browser tab.
3. Open Cite Verse (toolbar icon or side panel), start capture for that tab, and press play.
4. Verses are detected and shown in the side panel in real time.
Best for
1. Pastors and teachers preparing or reviewing sermons
2. Small groups and Bible studies
3. Anyone who wants to see verse references while listening to sermons or teachings online
Cite Verse is made for sermons and Bible-based discussions: capture tab audio and see Bible verses detected and displayed in real time.
