When the extension is enabled, it looks for Amazon's packaging selector during checkout and switches eligible items to:

- Automatic selection only on supported Amazon US and Amazon UK checkout pages
- A brief on-page status and confirmation banner so the automatic change feels expected
- No analytics, ads, or data sent to the developer

Privacy notes:

- The extension runs only on Amazon US and Amazon UK checkout pages
- It stores only your local enabled or disabled preference
- Any checkout-page data it handles is used only to apply the packaging preference inside your browser
